MY STORY

How I Started...

 

       I remember when I was young going on a boy scout trip with my younger brother's troop and our family, where I took my dad's big, Nikon camera and I carried it with me the entire trip. I took pictures of the moon, and of the sunsets on the lake, people sitting around the campfire, etc. I knew I loved doing this before doing this was even a careeer option.

      Anybody who knows me knows that I am the "picture girl". I am the first to say "OK, everybody get together and let's take a picture", or nowadays it's more like "Let's take a selfie!". I always have some sort of camera with me, and I have thousands upon thousands of candid photos of my friends and family.              Photography has always been a way for me to keep people close to me even when they're not with me. And now I'm genuinely excited that I get the opportunity to capture that for other people.
